What forms of payment does AWI accept?
ANSWER: AWI accepts the following forms of payment, Visa, Master Card, Discover, AMEX, Certified Check, COD and Cash.
How do I ship my engine mount?
ANSWER: The best way is to ship it bolted to a pallet/sheet of plywood and cocoon it with shrink wrap to protect critical components. A second method is to build a crate for the mount. AWI recommends shipping your engine mount via FEDEX or by Truck to our facility.
What documentation do I need when shipping an exhaust system/component or engine mount to AWI for repair?
ANSWER: AWI recommends including your contact information, including your name, direct line and cell number, name of business, aircraft make and model the part is off, airframe serial number and the part number if possible. This information will help expedite your repair through the cleaning, inspection and quoting process. You can download and use the following forms when sending in parts to AWI...

How long will my repair take?
ANSWER: For most exhaust repairs our lead time is 3-5 days once the quote is approved and for engine mounts we run 10 business days once the quote is approved.
Why does AWI request associated parts to be sent in with my part I need repaired?
ANSWER: AWI recommends sending in associated parts for fit when sending in a part for overhaul or repair. By doing so, we can provide better fit of an old part and an overhauled part.
Why won't AWI use powder coating on my engine mount?
ANSWER: We strongly advise against powder coating any structural airframe component. This can cause cracks and chafing to go unnoticed. Powder coating is also impossible to remove for future inspections.
